In Bloom is a mixed media drawing sculpture. Each of the 32 jellyfish is drawn with pen and marker on paper then cut out and arranged in between two pieces of plexiglass. There are four layers of plexiglass sandwiches, each an inch apart, inside the 30” x 24” x 6” poplar frame which is displayed hanging from the ceiling as to show both the front and back of the drawings and give added depth to the piece as a whole.
